Our Sheet Music Direct team plays, strums and sings just as much as you do! We're a team of musicians who love music of various styles and, when we're not busy with all things Sheet Music Direct, play at home, church, and gigs. Live Forever, Oasis
With Oasis making their long-awaited comeback last week, kicking off their reunion tour in Cardiff, my son's guitar group performed this 1994 classic in their summer concert, and it remains a sentimental one for those of us who grew up in the Britpop era.

Minute By Minute, The Doobie Brothers
This song has been such a fun challenge to play on piano, ever since I became a big fan of Michael McDonald, and even more since finding the sheet music on Sheet Music Direct. Released in 1979, "Minute By Minute" was nominated for a GRAMMY for Song of the Year, but lost out to Michael McDonald's own "What A Fool Believes" (another one of my all-time favorite songs by McDonald). Give that intro a try!

Jurassic Park (Theme), John Williams
With the new Jurassic World movie out this month, it feels like the perfect time to revisit the original Jurassic Park theme. Composed in 1993 by the legendary John Williams, the score is a great example of how Williams can make a film feel bigger, more emotional, and more memorable through music alone.

Words of Love, Buddy Holly
Every summer, I play in the pit orchestra for a show or two for my local theatre company. This year, I'm playing The Buddy Holly Story, and it's been fun revisiting these classics! While his music is still really popular, one tune I don't think gets enough flowers is "Words of Love." I adore the guitar sound on this, and the humming is so romantic—perfect for a summertime slow dance!

Happy, Pharrell Williams
If you're ever in need of an instant mood boost, this song never fails to get your head nodding and spirits lifted from the very first beat. Released in 2013 as part of the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, it quickly became a global anthem for positivity. Whether you're starting your day, need an afternoon pick-me-up, or want to celebrate wrapping up a big project, this song brings pure joy. I've been playing it on repeat this week to keep the energy up, and it always puts a smile on my face. I highly recommend adding it to your playlist this month!

Ordinary, The Piano Guys
Included on their upcoming EP, this is The Piano Guys' take on the recent hit by Alex Warren, "Ordinary". I really like the alternating piano textures, between the simple melody of the verse and the more layered and full arrangement of the chorus.
