Dan's Pick
Vivo (Netflix movie), Lin-Manuel Miranda

This fun new musical adventure features original songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana). There are plenty of great sing-alongs to choose from, but "One More Song" and "Keep the Beat" are surefire numbers.

Becca's Pick
It's All Coming Back to Me Now, Celine Dion

I've decided to go with a throwback pick for this month, as this Celine Dion single turns 25 this year. Her vocal versatility is on full display in her recording of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," not to mention an iconic piano part that's instantly recognizable. Every once in a while, I'll sit down at the piano and play some throwback tunes from the '90s, and this one is always at the top of my list.

Annie's Pick
Cha-Cha from the Dance At the Gym (from West Side Story), Leonard Bernstein

In looking forward to Steven Speilberg's adaptation of West Side Story hitting theaters next month, my staff pick is "Cha-Cha from the Dance At the Gym" scene. I love the accompaniment motive in the opening four measures, and the entire melody is actually borrowed from "Maria," priming the audience's ear for the following scene in the musical.

Laura's Pick
Only Murders in the Building (Main Title Theme), Siddhartha Khosla

Only Murders in the Building first season just wrapped up, leaving us all on a cliffhanger for season two. There are so many things that make this new show great, including the humor and the mystery, but also the overall aesthetic of the show is accompanied by a great soundtrack to set the scene and intrigue of the Arconia building, starting with this main theme.

Bill's Pick
Pyramid Song, Radiohead

Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac split double-album experiment celebrated its 20th anniversary recently, and to celebrate, the band has finally released the two albums together, with bonus tracks, in a package they're calling Kid A Mnesia. With the release, I've been revisiting these albums, and have fallen in love once again with "Pyramid Song." Featuring not much more than a piano and Thom Yorke's lilting vocals, the song translates extremely well to piano solo – though be sure to watch out for that slow swing behind the song's timing, as getting that right can take a bit of practice.

Sam's Pick
Autumn Leaves, Joseph Kosma (arr. Ryan O'Connell)

With autumn well and truly upon us, there's no better time to break out the timeless standard "Autumn Leaves." This a cappella arrangement—courtesy of Ryan O'Connell—is an absolute treat, featuring luscious harmonies and glorious suspensions throughout.
