Amy's Pick
If You Love Me (I Won't Care) (Hymne à l'amour), Edith Piaf

Ever since I was a kid, I've always LOVED watching the Olympics. There is something so special about this truly global event that grabs our collective attention, creating such incredible moments that go way beyond sport. Music always plays a key role and Celine Dion's passionate and fearless performance of Edith Piaf's "Hymne à l'amour" at the Opening Ceremony demonstrated the spirit at the heart of the games. La perfection!

Annie's Pick
Wicked (Choral Medley), Stephen Schwartz (arr. Mac Huff)

Choir directors: with just a few more months to wait for Jon M. Chu's Wicked in theaters, it's a great time to program this Wicked choral medley for your fall concert. Available for 2-part or 3-part mixed choir, this arrangement by Mac Huff includes "One Short Day," "Popular," "For Good," and "Defying Gravity." The bright musical sound and uplifting messaging would make a great concert finale!

Jill's Pick
On the Sunny Side of the Street, Lester Young

The last few months I've been playing lots of tenor transcriptions, and I always crave lazier tunes in the dog days of summer. This gorgeous 1946 Lester Young classic suits my August mood to a T.

Chris' Pick
Another One Bites the Dust, Queen

This week marks the anniversary of the filming of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" music video (August 9, 1980), a precursor to the song reaching #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 list, and being ranked #34 on Billboard's list of All-Time Top Songs. Beyond traditional sheets featuring the iconic bass line and melody, Sheet Music Direct also has a variety of unique arrangements including classical piano, string quartet, steel drum band and more!

Sam's Pick
The Hardest Part, Olivia Dean (arr. Liv Muir)

I'm always on the lookout for up-and-coming musicians from here in the UK, and Olivia Dean has been enjoying some airplay on BBC Radio 1 lately including a new version of her song "The Hardest Part" featuring Leon Bridges. I was happy to see a couple of ArrangeMe users have already uploaded arrangements of this song, and this choral arrangement by Liv Muir works particularly well!

Jacklyn's Pick
Un Amore Per Sempre, Josh Groban

This is quite a beautiful song performed and recorded by Josh Groban, which was released in 2001 from his self-titled album. "Un Amore Per Sempre," sung in Italian, evokes strong emotions and heartache as the lyrics paint a picture about a love that was once believed it was built for a lifetime, but in the end it was only a distant memory. I am partial to passionate and emotional songs, and I personally love this piece as Josh Groban's voice flawlessly captures the sentiment of this song. And since I recently started practicing the piano again, it is a fun one to play too.
