Jacklyn's Pick
Elephant Love Medley, Various Artists

I watched Moulin Rouge when it first came out and although I was very young at the time, I was obsessed with this number. I don't think I knew at the time that they were 10 songs rolled into one but I think it's absolute genius how it all came out to be. Any time I hear this medley, I remember the character Christian trying to win Satine's love. How romantic!

Jill's Pick
To Be with You, Mr. Big

If there's one thing that will melt a lady's heart, it's Eric Martin's perfect vocals on this track. It was released in 1991 but it still sounds fresh and sexy. It was playing everywhere when I was coming of age, so I have a sentimental spot for it, but I fall in love all over again when I hear it decades later.

Sam's Pick
Alone, Heart

I'm a sucker for piano-driven rock, and I'm also a sucker for vocal harmonies, so it's no surprise that "Alone" by Heart floats my boat. In many ways it's the ultimate 80s power ballad, and when that chorus kicks in, it's hard to resist the urge to sing along at the top of your lungs!

Becca's Pick
Endless Love, Lionel Richie & Diana Ross

Released in 1981, this is one of my absolute favorite Lionel Richie songs, and appropriately so for the month of Valentine's Day. I grew up listening to Lionel Richie and tons of other Motown artists, and this one was always on repeat – the piano part always draws me in. I also love listening to covers of this duet by Luther Vandross & Mariah Carey, as well as Lionel Richie & Shania Twain on his more recent Tuskegee album.

Annie's Pick
Grow As We Go, Ben Platt

"Grow As We Go" was released in 2019 on Ben Platt's debut album, Sing To Me Instead. I love the mellow sound of this song, and the guitar accompaniment from the recording is translated well in this PVG arrangement.

Joe's Pick
You and I, Stevie Wonder

This has always been one of my favorite songs by the legend that is Stevie Wonder. From his 1972 classic album, Talking Book, the melody and chord sequence wind in unexpected ways that somehow also feel natural and satisfying. In the final chorus, the emotion keeps building in a way that is sure to give chills to a Valentine's sweetheart—if you have the courage to serenade them!
